<description_plain>Who'd have thought that just two minutes away from the greasy fast food hell of Clapham Junction Station is a small but perfectly formed world of fresh, organic foods? A trip to Fresh & Wild will sort you out with pesticide-free fruit and veggies, heavenly fresh baked bread, tempting organic wines and a large range of gourmet groceries. It's also a good place to stock up on natural remedies to cure common nasties like hay fever and colds. Stock up here and you'll soon be exuding chemical-free wellness from every pore.

If you have time to take a breather after filling your shopping bag with Fresh & Wild's healthful foods, shimmy into the in-store cafe and treat yourself to one of their freshly prepared smoothies. The new, wholesome you starts here. But don't forget to pick up one of their organic chocolates before you leave—after such virtuous shopping, you deserve a treat.</description_plain>

<description_plain>One of Chelsea's best-kept secrets, the Replay Factory Outlet is the only place in London where you'll find 50% reductions on Replay goods for men, women and children. It's a retail blessing.

The stock is usually a season behind, but this has its advantages. Picture the scene: you're strolling down Fulham Road mid-summer, basking in the Great British sunshine when suddenly giant, icy hailstones start falling from the sky. Freakish climate changes are to be expected in the UK, and now you know where to find a warming yet stylish sweatshirt out of season. You'll thank us for telling you about this shopping gem and fashion life-saver one day.</description_plain>

<description_plain>Agent Provocateur knows how to bring sexy back, then smack you in the face with it. Browse through the knee-buckling collection of classy ladies' lingerie, from baroque patterns to depictions of modern mischievousness, which amount to piles of lavish lace and trim. Fellas, please try not to drool, mouth agape, while your imagination runs wild.

Readied for all kinds of role play, cheeky (heh) sets like the "Gangster" or "Maisy" are for dressing up like Prohibition vixens or French maids. The full range of looks takes feminine names and twists the fits into fantasies, all the way up to Elvira-like pasties and crystal-studded toys. No matter what a couple's preference, Agent Provocateur does precisely what its name suggests by provoking hormonal and instinctual response from both genders. Save the rest for the bedroom.</description_plain>

<description_plain>London-based label Pokit is possibly the only brand to have ever designed a range of bags inspired by Buckminster Fuller's geodesic dome. When Pokit came into being in 1999 it was primarily an accessories line, but has since expanded its repertoire to include a full range of quintessentially British modern menswear and womenswear.

What sets Pokit apart from other hip London labels is their relatively affordable in-store made-to-measure tailoring service. Available for both boys and girls, you don't need an appointment to treat yourself to a bespoke suit—guaranteed to hide all your bad bits and accentuate your assets. After the scariest part of the process (a brief spell in front of a three-sided mirror for a view of yourself in all 360 degrees of bodily glory) your suit is expertly cut by a qualified tailor and ready to wear in 2-3 weeks. This customer-centred service costs between £400 and £800 depending on your choice of fabric, but as most bespoke tailoring services will empty around £2K out of your bank account, this unique piece of personal styling won't leave you too out-of-Pokit.</description_plain>

<description_plain>'Can I?', the brainchild of the former Sales Director of Criminal, opened in late 2007 as an edgy, independent boutique for premium denim and casual wear. Northcote Road has never looked back—Can I? has brought the retail chic of Bond Street to Battersea, but with the cool, relaxed demeanour most often seen in East London.

Spread generously across two floors, the collection takes plenty of time to thoroughly browse through; yet we recommend you do just that. Both men and women are more than adequately provided for between all the denim cuts and washes, including jeans by 'PRPS' and eye-catching numbers by 'The Year Of...', then stand-out shoes and distinctive jewellery. New stock arrives in-store every week so there's no excuse to deny your wardrobe a piece of South London's finest fashion fodder.</description_plain>

<description_plain>The Castelbajac flagship store stocks the entire range of JC/DC products, including designer Jean Charles de Castelbajac's fashion collections, luggage, sunglasses, shoes and headwear as well as stationery, houseware and furniture. Located where Saville Row and Conduit Street meet, the JC/DC store represents the best of both avant-garde fashion and furnishings, resulting in a fantastical and even clown-like collection of tailored cool.

Common among the JC/DC aesthetic are signature bright primary colours and structured shapes. The new collection entitled "Once Upon A Time" explores wartime imagery modernised with Castelbajac's punky pop art twist. The store fuses carefree elements of a child's playground with the organization of a department store, showcasing JC/DC's distinctive styles employing glossy smiley faces and oversize polka dots with leather and camouflage. We love him. He rules. Pretty nutty. Very fun.</description_plain>

<description_plain>It's big, it's shiny, it's full of gadgets that you'll want to buy even if you don't know what they do. In one sense, the Apple Store is an exercise in how to buy top of the line technology that will make your friends jealous.

But the Apple Store on Regent Street is much more than just a great shopping experience. It offers clued-in staff who will give your Mac first aid on demand without fobbing you off with jargon about why your machine doesn't work. The store also provides training courses and one-on-one sessions regarding hardware and software for both business clients and home users with specific technical needs, as well as running youth workshops and a summer camp for kids and young adults. Beyond all this, the store offers a nice place to hang out and test well-designed products—or to run in and check your email. The place has good technologically related karma—constantly reinventing itself—so pop in and reboot your digital know-how.</description_plain>

<description_plain>For some men, shopping is a soulless pursuit—hours of Saturday afternoon apathy slumped in front of women's changing rooms with other bored boyfriends. For the gentlemen inclined toward piecing together purchases, there's The Library. Established in 1992, Brompton Road's brightest store is now enjoying a strengthening reputation as a retailer of fresh yet sophisticated menswear. Inside The Library's modest facade, big names like McQueen, Lang and Fake rub elbows with the newest luxury brands, such as Dan Macmillan's Zoltar the Magnificent, Carol Christian Poell and Junya Watanabe.

The store is staffed with knowledgeable, diligent personnel who work tirelessly to make shopping in The Library nothing but a pleasure, from the attentive service to the copacetic soundtrack. Also stocking a range of art, design and photography books, you could happily lose hours of your life in here and come out the other end all the more stylish for it.</description_plain>

<description_plain>Plagiarism is a terrible thing. Remember when your school friend copied your homework and passed it off as his own? It hurt, didn't it? But what about when the boot is on the other foot—when you happen across a great idea and want to claim it as your own? Argh, but the guilt...

The Dover Bookshop offers legalised and condonable plagiarism , and we can't thank them enough. Their dedication to providing the most extensive range of copyright and permission free material in book form is second to none. Simply stop by the shop, buy books and CDs full of inspiring graphic and commercial imagery, and then do exactly what you want with said sentences and pictures when you get home. It's an essential resource for artists, designers, illustrators, or anyone who has promised to make their best mate's wedding invitations and hasn't a clue where to find a Victorian etching of an appropriately coy blushing bride. Eduardo Paolozzi, the godfather of pop art, declared The Dover Bookshop to be his 'favourite shop in all the world'—he even designed their logo to show his appreciation. Praise indeed for such a modest-looking store, and what wonders await within...</description_plain>

<description_plain>The closure of legendary art bookshop "Zwemmers" caused a sad stirring among devotees, but thankfully ex-shop manager Claire de Rouen has given birth to a new store for specialist photography, fashion books and magazines.

Her eponymous store stocks the latest cultural titles and offers a substantial back catalogue of monographs—including rare, out-of-print, signed and collector's editions. In addition to the book shop, there are two gallery spaces, one specialising in showcasing young new talent and a larger space, CXR Gallery, which treats the discerning eye to changing displays of photography, design and urban art.

Unfortunately, this must-visit shop remains so well-hidden that the casual passerbyer must embark on a near treasure hunt to find it: tucked away at book-heaven Charing Cross Road and inside the "Soho Originals Bookstore" is a staircase to the right that leads to the first-floor gallery, which in turn leads to the bookshop. The reward, however, is design gold.</description_plain>
