The Knife’s Karin Dreijer Andersson took a break from from her “Heartbeats” partner to create creepy, deeply dark electronica that glides from brooding to perverse with voice-changing modifiers and barely-there vocals. Her highly original, entrancing performances have blurred the lines between concert and performance art, taking a more avant-garde approach to the synth-wave that has swept the mainstream this year.

Unfortunately, Dreijer Andersson is putting her Fever Ray alter-ego to rest (for the moment) so we cannot implore you enough to take this opportunity to catch a glimpse of her critically acclaimed project.
