Known for more than the sum of concerts, religious services and stalwart efforts to aid the homeless, Union Chapel is a Grade II listed historic emblem of Victorian-Gothic architecture in London. Constructed between 1874-1877, the chapel gained its name due to the fact that parishes at the time were administered by groups known Unions.
Today, Union Chapel hosts intimate gigs for a maximum of 200 audience members. Union Chapel is one of London’s most intimate and architecturally riveting clubs—especially considering its unorthodox origins for a music club—and previously garnered attention as the site of an impromptu U2 concert back in 2007.
A portion of proceeds from shows and bar sales go to support the Chapel’s community programmes and restoration projects.
