Overcrowded in-store shows and shelves of records literally bursting at their book-ends called for a new location. Finally in 2008, Pure Groove moved to their snazzy new space which is at the very least a fantastic record shop but also a gallery, bar, coffee shop, wi-fi lounge and live-music venue with a seriously unbeatable line-up. The shop's first year calendar was kicked off with appearances by the Mystery Jets and Lykki Li and has since included dozens of familiar and up-and-coming names—to name a few, White Williams, Peter Bjorn and John, Micachu, Ladyhawke and Friendly Fires.
