Former Electric Light Station for GER, The Light Bar is a first-rate blend of nightclub, bar and restaurant situated between the City financial district and trendy Shoreditch. The rustic brickhouse decor and the high wooden ceilings remain, while the interior is barely lit and filled with furniture with a minimalist touch.

On the ground floor you can find a bar with a good variety of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails; the restaurant, serving French Mediterranean cuisine; and the courtyard, which makes The Light Bar a pleasant spot during warm evenings. The upstairs lounge occasionally omits the geometric couches to give way to a proper hardwood dancefloor. There is also an adjoining roof terrace with an inspiring view, ideal for a chat or a ciggy between one track and the other.
