<description_plain>Ahhhh, surely the art of happiness involves a visit to Lancashire Court once in a while? Or, more simply, a trip to the court’s discretely hidden Elemis spa. Sticking two aroma-scented fingers up to stress, this elegant (and newly refurbished) urban day spa may be moments from Oxford St, but it's a million miles away from the madness that sends many high-profiled, stressed-out individuals through its doors. As glamorously otherworldly as it is familiar home-from-home, Elemis spa, with all its handmade sofas and intricate metal wall hangings does ‘touchy-feely’ very well. Dreamily, a Moonlight Suite for couples and friends features, as does a restored Moorish suite and traditional Rasul for luxuriously dirty detoxing on handcrafted heated thrones.

For the traditionalists meanwhile, the classic spa menu doesn't disappoint: Aroma stone massages, herbal lavender repair facials and a classic deep tissue all get the proverbial thumbs up. That said, we're also fans of the coconut and milk ritual wrap with dry floatation; the human equivalent of snuggling inside a giant bounty bar and having your feet squeezed. Pleasure personified.</description_plain>
