The team behind The Queen of Hoxton opened this somewhat tamer younger sibling in September 2009 with an emphasis on “fusing boozing with brain power.”

You’ll find plenty of reason to linger over your latte here as this venue regularly hosts photography exhibitions, live music sessions, book readings and panel discussions. Open until late every night, you can join the crowd of young professionals in a heated debate or slink into the soft chairs with the more arty types poring over the collection of books.Quote_transparent

It may seem bias that I choose the bar in which I run a club night but I picked it because it’s so good! In Shoreditch there are SO many pubs and bars that, at times, can be too cool for their own good. The Book Club just has a more laid back vibe than a lot of those other places.
